Sportwoche.
Every class gets one holiday week a year and they can vote on what they want to do. Some classes ski, others go on a language week - Malta, Ireland, England, France and Russia are popular destinations - and others have Sportwoche. We climbed, hiked, biked, ran, played tennis, soccer, volleyball, drank lots of wine, hung out in the sauna - and all at this lovely Sport Hotel (with it's defunct weight room) in Carinthia, very close to the Großglockner, which, at 3,798 meters, is the highest mountain in Austria.

This is the hut we hiked to one day. My climbing instructor's 65ish year old dad led us on this very steep, very long hike up a mountain. It took three hours and it was his third trip up that week. When we got to the top my colleagues and I were greeted by Renate and Fritz with shots and the students got Fanta. The view (and the shots) made it all worth it.
